A Resource Portal for Automotive Dealers, Industry Vendors and Advertising Agencies

AdAgencyOnline.Net To Review Automotive Advertising Vendors At NADA Convention

AdAgencyOnline.Net was introduced by Ad Agency Online, L.L.C., AAOL, during the 2008 NADA Convention as a free automotive advertising resource / networking portal. Philip Zelinger, the President of AAOL and the host of the blog talk radio station featured on AdAgencyOnline.Net – WAAOL, All Automotive Advertising News All The Time – relied on the “real world” meeting to find “virtual world” solutions provided by the automotive advertising vendors exhibiting at the convention. The 2009 NADA Convention to be held in New Orleans, January 24th through January 27th, promises to add a number of new online solutions for a struggling auto industry and Philip will be there to review them for his affiliated automotive advertising agencies, auto dealer clients and site visitors.

It is anticipated that auto dealer attendance will be down at the convention based in part on reduced support from the O.E.M.s who are bowing to public pressure to cut expenses forcing the cancellation of several auto dealer meetings and after hour events. Many automotive advertising vendors have also commented that they have cut back on the size of their booths and/or eliminated setting up an exhibit in favor of using hospitality suites at hotels near the convention to reduce expenses.

In a recent interview on one of the blog talk radio shows featured on WAAOL, “Lunch With Phil Discussing Automotive Advertising” Philip recognized that auto dealer attendance may be down this year but he remained confident that the opportunities will be better than ever before. “My trip to New Orleans is already a success. I am going to the NADA Convention armed with the checkbooks of my affiliated automotive advertising agencies and auto dealer clients to find new solutions to solve shard problems. Based on preliminary conversations and scheduled presentations at the convention I am confident that there will be a few new “preferred automotive advertising vendors” joining AdAgencyOnline.Net after my trip and several new strategic partnerships formed with my current vendor clients. I also have many online friends meeting me there to discuss our new shared auto industry social networking site – Auto Industry Insights. Frankly, introducing it at the NADA Convention is no coincidence. The success of AdAgencyOnline.Net taught me the importance of linking the “real world” with the virtual one. Conventions or conferences with my fellow professionals in the automotive advertising industry strengthen existing relationships and open opportunities for new ones.”

The new communal online resource being organized by Philip in cooperation with his vendor client EveryCarListed.Com will be a “Network of Networkers” with an advisory panel made up of a group of auto industry insiders including; ADM – hosted by Ralph Paglia, www.DealerRefresh.Com – hosted by Jeff Kershner, www.DrivingsSales.Com – hosted by Jared Hamilton, http://imacsweb.typepad.com/ – hosted by Gary May, http://www.scottmonty.com/ – hosted by Scott Monty, www.askpatty.com – hosted by Jody Devere and www.adagencyonline.net hosted by Philip Zelinger.

About Auto Industry Insights

Auto Industry Insights will be an open forum for the auto industry headed by an advisory panel made up of established automotive advertising insiders and supported by their existing auto industry social networking/blogging sites. The portal is being developed as a consumer/dealer/consultant facing social networking site supported by – www.everycarlisted.com (ECL) – an auto industry inventory website that will be driving traffic to the networking community through existing strategic partnerships as well as both conventional and online marketing investments. The concept is to establish a “network of networkers” with a priority on content sourced from auto industry consultants, auto dealers that have their own blogging forums and even consumers that have registered with ECL. The site will be promoted to share “best practices” and real world experiences.
